Fotofacial is a treatment used for skin problems such as sun spot, acne scars, wrinkles, or a red complexion.

The fotofacial or Intense pulsed light, uses an intense beam of light much like a laser, the difference is that IPL uses a broad band of light instead of a narrow band used in laser treatment.

It usually takes four to six session of therapy to get lasting results. With good skin protection the results can last up to one year.
